John comes from a family where law enforcement and public safety are respected and understood as essential to the stability of community life. His brother Joe is a former local police chief and a current Director of Public Safety. John will work with local law enforcement and all state agencies to protect the safety and well being of Michigan citizens. He also understands the concerns people have for protection of the personal privacy. He will stand firm in preventing state government from overreaching its authority.
